5:00am early start in your private 4x4 Land Cruiser Jeep. Pass small farms through the Great Rift Valley with rest stops to admire towering valley escarpments. Arrive at the world-famous Masai Mara around lunchtime. First game drive in one of the most famous wildlife parks in the world, home to numerous lion prides, leopards, cheetahs, and dozens of grazers.

Full day in Kenya's most popular reserve with the richest concentration of wildlife. During Great Migration season (July-October), witness the most dramatic movement of animals anywhere. Early departure for Lake Nakuru with scenic stops along the way. This small gem offers striking variety of landscapes with diverse wildlife. Spot Rothschild's giraffe, zebra, hippo, waterbuck, monkey, and baboon. The lake hosts varied birdlife including kingfishers, ostriches, storks, and flamingoes. Visit the rhino sanctuary protecting a large population of black rhinos.

Early departure for Amboseli with scenic rest stops through the Great Rift Valley. As you approach, mighty Mt. Kilimanjaro rises in the distance. Amboseli guarantees plentiful sightings of free-ranging elephants with Kilimanjaro as scenic backdrop. The park also features signature marshes with birdlife like pelican and Egyptian goose.

Final look at Amboseli's elephant families and Mt. Kilimanjaro before short drive to Tsavo West. The park's green rolling hills and curious lava formations host all of Africa's "Big Five". Visit the lush oasis of Mzima Springs with thousands of gallons of freshwater, bathing hippos, crocodiles, and palm-fringed shores with exotic birds and fish.

Final short game drive before departing for the train station. Board the air-conditioned first-class Madaraka Express for a scenic 4.5-hour journey through Tsavo East Parks to the Kenya Coast.
