Londorossi Gate to Mti Mkubwa Camp
Begin your journey at Londorossi Gate (2,100m) with registration and briefing. Drive through the rainforest to the trailhead, then hike through lush montane forest to Mti Mkubwa Camp (2,820m). This gentle start allows for proper acclimatization.

Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate
