Mount Meru is Tanzania's second-highest mountain at 4,566 meters and offers one of the most spectacular trekking experiences in East Africa. Located in Arusha National Park, this dormant volcano provides stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro and serves as an excellent acclimatization trek.

The trek takes you through diverse ecosystems, from montane forests filled with wildlife to alpine deserts near the summit. You'll encounter buffalo, giraffes, and various primates along the lower slopes, making it a unique combination of trekking and wildlife viewing.
